Production & Manufacturing

Production Process
Hand plucked tea is collected and dried in traditional tea factories. They are then processed according to industry accepted standards.
Tea leaves are checked and prepared for processing. Tea leaves are machine rolled and pressed. The leaves are oxydized, turning them into the beautiful brown color and the process also creates the aroma of tea. Sifted and sorted to purify and seperate various varieties of tea are sorted and stored for testing. The tea is then certified by the Ceylon Tea Board and made available at the Ceylon Tea Auctions every week.
